Temporarily disguises you as a Y'm-bhi, but allies will also see you as hostile.
It is said that Nyarlathotep walks among mortals wearing many faces, delighting in the confusion between man and monster. While wearing the Mask of Nyarlathotep, your true shape will be hidden, and you will appear to others as a Y'm-bhi.
Creatures will not attack you, believing you are one of them. But be sure to warn your allies, as they too will see you as a creature and may act upon this mistaken impression.
The mask’s power cannot be sustained for long, as the illusion resists being bound for long.
