Gameplay hints

Short pointers the game shows during a run.

Approach enemies from behind to perform a backstab.
Beware of disturbing the forest with loud noises. The forest is always vigilant.
Collecting treasure is a collaborative goal. Store valuables in the ox wagon's chest to free your inventory.
Equip a melee weapon to test attacks on the training dummy.
Firearms with a fuse cannot ignite gunpowder under the rain.
Forts can be charted on the ship's world map so players can start from those locations. Discover new forts to expand the map and chart the mainland.
Make sure to purchase items from the ship's shop to aid you in your quest.
Talk with Father Escalona to send the wagon back to the boat.
The overhead stab deals twice as much damage when aimed at the head.
Treasures are hidden in the forest. Look for objects of value to bring back to the ship.
You only have a few hours to accomplish your task. The forest is altered by your presence.
Your attack is different when targetting an enemy close to the ground.
