In the Forest

Alerting the forest and noise

Noise irritates the forest, increasing its hostility.

Not only are there beings in the forest that can hear your footsteps, but the forest itself is a living presence, irritated by your intrusion. If you make too much noise, it will respond.

Pay attention to the loudness of different sounds to understand how much they anger the forest.

- Avoid using firearms unless absolutely necessary.

- Certain creature calls and animal cries can alert the forest.

- Running while wearing armor produces noise.

- Cutting branches with a machete or sword is quieter than snapping them by pushing through.

Move in silence to approach creatures unnoticed and perform a backstab before they react.
